'Over 90,000 Dubliners in one-roomed tenements' - 'Big Families in Basements' - Photo accompanying the article is headed: 'Yes - This Is In Dublin' - Shows a mother and several small children 'condemned to live in the hideous disease-ridden hovel described in to-day's article. Two of their little children have already been sacrificed to tubercolosis. Must there be further victims?'

Also on this page is a facsimile of letter received by a tenement dweller from Dublin Corporation, telling him that "...there are upwards of five thousand cases to be inspected, and accordingly some time may elapse before your case can be dealt with."
