What do you think is the best thing about being old?

Well all I can say to you is the morning after I retired I woke up and I said to myself ‘Lord, I don’t have to…’, you know, I didn’t have to get up, I didn’t have to be in time for anybody, you know?

Just freedom?

Well I suppose you could call it freedom, it’s freedom from… I suppose, I don’t like to say responsibility because I think you should always be responsible for your actions, you know, but that kind of responsibility, you know. Like, you’re not subject to any person or somebody’s not going to say to you ‘hey, you’re late’ or that kind of thing.
